Study numbers, how to cite and method: Franchise Recruitment Study 2026 press and data page

Sell More Franchises builds and runs franchise recruitment for franchisors: website, tracking, CRM and ads, for franchisors only. A Digital Rocket company.

About Sell More Franchises

Sell More Franchises recruits franchisees for franchisors. We build the recruitment page, an inquiry form that asks about capital, timing and territory, tracking in the client's CRM, and Meta and Google ads, and then we run the ads. The client's own team talks to the candidates. We also work with companies that sell turnkey business packages priced like a franchise.

  • Price: $6K one-off to build the system, then $4K a month to run the ads. The minimum first commitment is $14,000 for 3 months, then month to month. Ad spend is paid by the client directly to Meta and Google, at least $5K a month. Pricing
  • Ownership: clients own all accounts and data. No revenue share and no commission per sale.
  • Result we can share: Resicert, a franchisor in Australia and New Zealand, cut its cost per recruitment lead from A$43.75 in 2022 to A$18.39 in 2025. Case study
  • Markets: the US, UK, Australia and Canada.

The 2026 study in brief

Franchise Recruitment Study 2026 audited the recruitment funnels of 200 franchise brands with 50 or more units, and read 2,638 of their Meta ads. It found that franchise leads leak in the steps after the click: recruitment pages that don't say who the franchise is for, forms that never ask whether the candidate has the money to invest, and tracking that can't tell Meta which leads became buyers.

Three findings from our 31 October 2026 audit

  1. 30 of 69recruitment pages of the top 100 Franchise 500 brands showed neither an investment figure nor a capital requirement.
  2. 16 of 31inquiry forms we could read asked about capital. 13 asked about territory, and only 1 asked when the candidate wants to start.
  3. 51 of 69pages sat on a franchise-only address, separate from the customer website.

Methodology

Between 8 and 19 October 2026, each brand's recruitment page was saved on a phone and on a desktop. Forms were reviewed field by field. Tracking was checked for a Meta pixel, the click ID or ad source kept in the form, and a server-side signal. Google PageSpeed supplied real-user speed data where Google has it. 2,638 active recruitment ads were read in the Meta Ad Library.

Every number has a finding ID on the findings data page.
