A franchise sales organization (FSO) takes over franchise sales for you. Its people call your candidates, run the presentations and take them to discovery day. We do something different. We build and run the system that brings qualified candidates to your own development team: the recruitment page, the inquiry form, lead grading, tracking in your CRM, and Meta and Google ads. Your team talks to the candidates. You pay a flat fee, not a commission per franchise sold, and you own everything we build.
This page is for franchisors deciding between handing sales to an FSO and keeping sales in-house with outside help on finding candidates.
How the two compare
| Franchise sales organization | Sell More Franchises | |
|---|---|---|
| Who talks to candidates | The FSO’s salespeople | Your development team |
| How it is paid | Varies by firm. Some charge a monthly fee plus a success fee for every sale, and some ask for part of the royalty stream or equity (Mark Siebert, iFranchise Group, in Entrepreneur). Others set fees case by case (Franchise Marketing Systems). | $6K one-off build, then $4K a month to run the ads. No commission per sale and no share of royalties (pricing). |
| Who pays for advertising | You do (Entrepreneur) | You do, directly to Meta and Google, minimum $5K a month (pricing) |
| Who owns the leads, accounts and data | Depends on the contract | You do. Everything is built in your accounts. |
| What your team learns | Outsourcing sales does not build the skill inside your company (Entrepreneur) | We train your team to grade leads, call the qualified ones first and use the CRM |
When an FSO is the better choice
If nobody in your company can take a call with a candidate, an FSO gives you salespeople from day one. That is the main thing it offers that we don’t. We don’t sell franchises for you, and we don’t run discovery days.
When a flat-fee recruitment agency is the better choice
- You have at least one person who can talk to candidates, and you want them talking only to people who can afford the franchise and want an open territory.
- You want to know your cost per signed franchise, by source, instead of paying a fee on every sale.
- You want to keep the recruitment system when the contract ends. With us, the site, forms, pixels, ad accounts and CRM stay with you.
What the work covers
- Months 1 to 3: we build the system. A recruitment page that states the investment and who it’s for, a form that asks capital, timing and territory, tracking from the ad click to the signed agreement, and lead grading in your CRM: every inquiry is marked Qualified, Nurture or Disqualified by the rules your team sets.
- From month 2: ads go live. Meta and Google ads, with Qualified leads and signings sent back to the platforms so they look for more people like your buyers.
- Ongoing: a weekly report with qualified leads, conversations held and cost per signed franchise. See how it works.
What it costs
The minimum first commitment is $14,000 for the first 3 months: the $6K build plus 2 months of ads at $4K a month. After that it is month to month. Ad spend is paid by you directly to Meta and Google, at least $5K a month. If you decide to scale ad spend above the level we agree at the start, a 10% fee applies to the spend above that level. Full terms are on the pricing page.
Can we use you alongside brokers or an FSO?
Yes. Many franchisors keep brokers or portals running while they build their own source of candidates. Because every lead carries its source into your CRM, you can compare what each source costs per signed franchise and move budget to the one that works. Our page on portals, brokers and paid ads covers that comparison.
Results
One of our franchisors, Resicert, recruits franchisees in Australia and New Zealand. Its cost per recruitment lead went from A$43.75 in 2022 to A$18.39 in 2025 (case study).
